Forcing Bulbs for Holiday Blooms, Saturday, November 20, 10 am

Now is the time to pot up forcing bulbs to have them in bloom for the holidays! Learn the best way to force different varieties of bulbs. Bring your own container or purchase one while you are here to wow your holiday guests with your own beautiful centerpiece creation. There is no charge to participate only for cost of materials that will vary and can be purchased on site. Please register in advance by calling 693-3966.


CBD and Me: The Benefits of CBD: Saturday, November 20, 2 pm

Presented by River Organics from Gloucester, VA. Come and relax with CDB wine samples while learning about the many physical and mental health benefits of CBD. Participants will go home with free samples of River Organics products and be entered in a raffle. $5 per person, advance registration is required; please call (804) 693-3966 to reserve your space. Ticket proceeds support the Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic.

Kokedama Workshop: Saturday, December 4, 1 pm

Instructor Okie Sidehamer has created a "Half Kokedama" as a new take on the traditional Japanese Kokedama moss ball. While a traditional Kokedama is watered by submerging the entire ball in water, the half Kokedama has a "watering hole" where water can be poured into the side. Join in on the fun of creating your own plant sculpture - a piece of art like no other. All supplies will be provided, including a variety of popular houseplants. $35 per person, reservations required. To register call 804/693-3966.


Second Saturdays: Saturday, December 11, 10 am

Brent and Becky's will host the Gloucester Master Gardeners on the second Saturday of the month for an informational look at what is going on in the garden, as well as a talk on Herbs. Join the Gloucester Master Gardeners to learn how to make your garden the best it can be. There is no charge or registration for this informative session packed with great information!
